Welcome to Abisabis. These terms set out the agreement between you and Abisabis Services Ltd when you browse our website, place an order, or subscribe to our communications. Please read them carefully. By using our site or placing an order you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About us
Abisabis Services Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, trading as Abisabis. We are a curated marketplace for quality natural products, including El Gazelle kilishi, raw honey, and natural skincare. As a food business operator, we are registered with our local authority in accordance with the Food Safety Act 1990 and the Food Safety and Hygiene (England) Regulations 2013.
- Registered address: Leeward Hale, Trelissick Road, Paignton, Devon, TQ3 3GU

2. Our products
Abisabis offers a range of natural products including handcrafted kilishi, raw honey, and shea butter. We take every care to accurately describe our products on the website, including ingredients, weight, and nutritional information where available. Because many of our products are handcrafted in small batches, there may be minor natural variations in colour, texture, or seasoning between batches.
Storage and shelf life
Product storage varies by type. Kilishi is a dried, shelf-stable product — store in a cool, dry place and consume within 7 days of opening. Raw honey should be stored at room temperature. Shea butter should be kept cool and dry. Specific best-before dates are printed on each product label. Please follow all on-pack storage instructions.
Product images and descriptions
We strive to display product colours and packaging as accurately as possible. However, screen settings vary and we cannot guarantee that your display will accurately reflect the final product. Product weights are given as net weight at the time of packing.
3. Ordering from us
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the items in your basket. A contract is formed only once we confirm acceptance of that order by sending you an order confirmation email.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example where stock is unavailable, there has been a pricing error, or we are unable to authorise payment.
Pricing and payment
All prices are shown in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include any applicable VAT. We use Stripe to process card payments securely; card details are never stored on our servers. Payment is taken at the point of checkout. You will receive a payment confirmation from Stripe and an order confirmation email from us.
Discount codes
Discount codes are subject to the specific terms stated at the time of issue. Unless otherwise stated: codes cannot be combined with other offers; each code may only be used once per customer; codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money; we reserve the right to withdraw or modify any promotional code at any time.
Gift messages
If you include a gift message with your order, it will be included as a printed note with the delivery. We reserve the right to decline messages that contain offensive, inappropriate, or harmful content.
4. Delivery and pickup
We offer two fulfilment options:
- UK Standard Delivery — charged at £4.95, with free delivery on orders over £40. We dispatch within 1 to 2 working days; most orders arrive within 2 to 4 working days via Royal Mail or courier.
- Local Pickup — free collection available in Paignton, Devon. We will contact you by email after your order to confirm a collection time and location.
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by the postal service, courier, severe weather, or other events outside our reasonable control. If your order has not arrived within 10 working days, please contact us and we will investigate.
Risk passes to you once the goods are delivered to the address you provided, or collected by you in person.
Temperature-sensitive shipments
Our products do not require refrigerated shipping. However, during periods of extreme heat, we may adjust our dispatch schedule or packaging to protect product quality. We recommend bringing parcels indoors promptly upon delivery.
5. Returns, refunds, and complaints
Because our products are perishable handcrafted foods, we are unable to accept returns of opened or partly consumed items under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which exempt perishable goods from the standard 14-day cancellation right.
However, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected. If your order arrives:
- damaged or spoiled in transit,
- with the wrong items or missing products,
- past the best-before date on arrival, or
- not as described on our website,
please email us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected] with photos of the issue and your order reference. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at our discretion.
For hygiene and food safety reasons, we cannot resell or accept returns of products that have left our control, even if unopened.
6. Allergens and food safety
We take food safety extremely seriously. All products are prepared and packaged in accordance with UK food safety standards.
Allergen information: Our products are made in facilities that also handle nuts, peanuts, gluten, soy, sesame, celery, and mustard. While we take every practical precaution with hygiene and production practices, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergen cross-contamination.
Full ingredient lists and allergen declarations are provided on each product page and on the physical packaging. If you have a severe allergy or any doubt, please contact us before ordering and we will advise you directly.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have reviewed the allergen information provided and accept responsibility for checking that our products are suitable for your dietary requirements.
Food labelling
All products are labelled in accordance with the Food Information Regulations 2014 (FIR), including: product name, ingredients list (with allergens emphasised), net weight, best-before date, storage instructions, business name and address, country of origin, and nutritional information where applicable.
7. Loyalty points programme
Registered customers earn loyalty points on qualifying purchases (1 point per £1 spent). Points can be redeemed for discounts on future orders (100 points = £1 discount). Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the loyalty programme at any time with reasonable notice. Any fraudulent accumulation of points may result in account suspension.
8. Wholesale enquiries
Wholesale orders are subject to separate terms agreed individually between the parties. Information provided through our wholesale enquiry form does not constitute a binding contract. We reserve the right to decline wholesale applications at our discretion.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, product photography, logos, and Abisabis branding, is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
10. Our liability
We do our best to provide an accurate, useful, and reliable service. However, we do not warrant that the website will always be available or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of our site or products is limited to the price paid for the relevant order.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987; or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
11. Force majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, supply chain disruptions, government actions, or postal service failures.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are unhappy with how we handle a complaint, you may also refer the matter to an alternative dispute resolution provider.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force at the time you placed it. We recommend reviewing this page periodically. Material changes will be highlighted on the website.
